  "message": "Render emoji with a Chrome-PDF-compatible Twemoji build\n\nThe previous attempt (8171669, reverted in 8abef81) installed upstream\nTwemoji\u0027s own release, which uses the SVGinOT color-font format. Chrome\nrenders SVGinOT in color on screen, but its print-to-PDF path doesn\u0027t\nsupport it and silently falls back to the font\u0027s monochrome outline\nglyphs -- confirmed via `pdffonts` showing the embedded glyphs as a\nplain (non-color) font subset in a real CI-built poster.\n\nFedora\u0027s twitter-twemoji-fonts package instead ships Twemoji as\nCBDT/CBLC (bitmap glyphs), the same technology Noto Color Emoji uses,\nwhich Chrome does support for PDF export (verified locally: embeds as\na color Type 3 font, and renders correctly in the printed poster).\nExtract just the .ttf from Fedora\u0027s RPM via rpm2cpio/cpio rather than\nadding a whole extra package repository.\n\nCo-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 \u003cnoreply@anthropic.com\u003e\nChange-Id: Ic6168efa44af3b0a84ecdb643e483d107aaac547\n",
